ABOUT US

Fanny & Florian

Born in the Lake Geneva region in 1991,  I grew up in a family of musicians, an oboist father and a singer mother. Lulled by music since my earliest childhood, my creative spirit was already awake.

Very quickly it was jewelry that attracted me and after 5 years of training at CFP Arts in Geneva, I joined different workshops thanks to rigorous technical training.

After seven years in business, a desire to broaden my knowledge pushed me to return to my studies. In two years, I completed the Bachelor of Product Design, Jewelry and Accessories at HEAD - Geneva and thus carried out diverse and varied projects, in accessories, but also in products, by familiarizing myself with new materials. This training allowed me to question the traditional world of jewelry and to go beyond my limits. I also pass on my know-how to future jewelers in the CFP Arts workshops where I have been teaching part-time since 2020.

Granddaughter of a cabinetmaker and seamstress Fanny was born in sunny Marseille in 1991. Attracted by artistic and manual professions, what fascinates her above all is the creative approach and the research process.

A dental prosthetist, she sets out to discover the world on the North American continent. It was after three wonderful years in Montreal that she decided to head to Lyon, to resume her studies and begin training in jewelry. She thus carries out an Upgrade in applied arts, a C.A.P. and a D.M.A., during which she obtained several merit scholarships and prizes of excellence and won 3rd place in the Prix Avenir des Métiers d'Art 2017. She then decided to complete a Bachelor in Product Design, Jewelry and Accessories in two years at the HEAD - Geneva in order to diversify its skills.

Following this Bachelor, Fanny Casano won the prestigious Hans Wilsdorf 2020 Excellence Prize and founded ALMASANO with Florian Gay-Balmaz.
